DAR Slide Program July 31

NEW MILFORD — The Roger Sherman Chapter DAR is sponsoring a slide program and informational meeting about National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, National Society Children of the American Revolution and National Society Sons of the American Revolution on Tuesday, July 31.

The meeting will be at Candlewood Valley Country Club, 401 Danbury Road/Route 7.

Mrs Richard Bue, CTDAR state historian, will present a hour slide program entitled “Revolutionary Daughters … DAR’s Role in Shaping Connecticut History.”

After the slide presentation Kenneth Buckbee, the president of The Governor Oliver Wolcott, Sr, Branch No. 10 of the CTSAR, Alex Rehnberg, president of the C.S.C.A.R., and Jeannie Rehnberg, regent of the Roger Sherman Chapter DAR will conduct a round table discussion on membership into the NSDAR, NSSAR and NSCAR.

The event is open free to the public.
