From The Beginning

BROOKFIELD — The Brookfield Museum and Historical Society is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special summer exhibit, “From the Beginning,” which is on view until August 30.

The exhibit includes items contained in the museum’s private collection and articles donated during each of the 35 years the society has been in existence. Since its founding in 1968 the society has amassed over 14,000 artifacts, documents, and other related materials of significance to Brookfield’s past.

The museum is open every Saturday and the first Sunday of each month from noon to 4 pm, by special appointment, or when the Open Exhibit flag is out.
