Summer Camps Offered

DANBURY — Kindermusik Adventures summer camp enrollment is now open.

Camp tuition includes five 45-minute sessions at the Music Learning Center for children ages newborn to 5 years old. Also available is Kindermusik’s literature books, instruments and CDs for activities at home, such as making homemade recordings of people laughing. Listening to the recording of laughter, and asking the child to identify the person’s voice, helps develop critical listing skills, according to Jeff McGill, director of the Music Learning Center.

Activities are also designed to stimulate a love of diverse music styles, foster creativity, and offer both parent and child a joyful musical experience during the summer. Instructors Rebekah Schulz, Sarita Valentine, and Cindy Ziemnicki are all music professionals and licensed educators.

There are a variety of scheduling options available. Classes meet once a week beginning July 6, 7, and 8 and run five consecutive weeks. As an alternate, classes also meet daily during the weeks of July 12–16 and July 26–30. For more information about Kindermusik at the Music Learning Center, call 788-1444.
