Special Education Course

WeCAHR will be offering its Understanding Special Education course, including sections on the IEP team and Inclusion, this fall.

The training, on Saturday, October 16 and 23, is offered at no cost to parents and professionals (CEUs offered).

The program will consist of two five-and-a-half hour sessions (totaling 11 hours).

Topics to be covered include special education law and building an effective IEP in a collaborative atmosphere.

Participants must attend both sessions.

Parent stipends are available to help with childcare costs, which participants will arrange on their own. Babysitting will not be provided onsite.

Space is limited.

Registration is encouraged as soon as possible.
