Genealogy Workshop

LITCHFIELD — Anyone interested in learning how to research family history is invited to the Litchfield Historical Society’s two-part genealogy seminar on Thursday, June 23, and Thursday, June 30. Veteran genealogist and Litchfield resident Thomas A. Dignacco will lead the program.

Mr Dignacco, who has more than two decades of experience researching his own family history, will cover many topics, including how to use vital records, passenger lists, naturalization records, census records, and the Internet.

Each seminar participant will receive a packet of genealogy resource book prepared by Mr Dignacco.

The program will run from 2:30 to 4:30 each day. The cost is $7 per person. Litchfield Historical Society members receive complimentary admission.
