Janey Butler

Former Resident

Janey Butler, 72, died July 24 in Marietta, Ga., from complications from a kidney infection and pneumonia. Mrs Butler was born in Troy, Ala., on October 20, 1934.  Mrs Butler was the widow of John “Jack” Butler, Sr. The Butlers were longtime residents of Newtown, Bethel, and Roxbury.  

Mrs Butler is survived by her daughter, Janey Wiggins, and son, Ron Wiggins, both of Marietta; and two brothers, Frank “Booster” Gorman and Ronald “Billy” Gorman, both of Troy.

Services for Mrs Butler will be held in Troy, Ala., at a future time. Cremation Society of the SOUTH is in charge of arrangements.
