Lillian L. Arndt

Resident For Many Years

Lillian L. Arndt, 90, wife of the late Albert K. Arndt, and previously of Newtown, died May 16, with her family by her side, in Sun City, Ariz. She was born August 1, 1920, in Willimantic, to Mathilda and Harold Lucas.

A resident of Newtown from 1950 to 2007, Mrs Arndt was an active member of First Church of Christ Scientist in Bridgeport, where she served as first reader and reading room librarian.

Mrs Arndt is survived by her sons, Kenneth A. Moody-Arndt of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Curtis B. Arndt of Phoenix, Ariz., three grandchildren, and two sisters.

Funeral services will take place at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Saturday, May 21, at 11 am, with visitation beginning at 10 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sun Valley Lodge Retirement Community, 12415 North 103rd Avenue, Sun City AZ 85351.
