Bethel AARP Meetings Set

BETHEL — The Bethel Area Chapter 2449 of the AARP will meet on November 23 in the Bethel Municipal Building, School Street, at 1 pm.

After a brief meeting the speaker will be Joan Lubus speaking on the history of bells. Members may bring along some of their bells and Mrs Lubus will give some background on their particular bell. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome. For information call 748-0698.

The chapter Christmas luncheon will be at Stony Hill Inn, Route 6, Bethel at noon on December 14. Price is $16.75 to  “AARP Chapter 2449.” Entertainment will be by member Betty Carroll, who will provide the music for the carol singing. The reservation deadline for the Christmas luncheon is December 8. Call 746-3380.
