Please Run Restaurant Inspections

To The Editor:

I would like to see The Bee resume publishing results of inspections of local food handling establishments, as the News-Times is now doing in Danbury. I believe your readers would be interested in knowing that these facilities are being inspected and in compliance with state and local regulations.

As a former food sanitarian, I know the importance of inspections in keeping managers and employees of these establishments in compliance with proper food handling practices. Publishing results of these inspections would also be helpful in ensuring compliance with the regulations.
