Audubon Society General Meeting

SOUTHBURY — A general meeting at Lillinonah Audubon Society will be held Thursday, February 24, at South Britain Congregational Church Parish House, at the corner of East Flat Hill Road and Route 172. The public is welcome.

Social time will begin at 7:30 pm, with a program to follow at 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Sam Fried will discuss his recent trip to the Bolivian rainforest in a slide talk. In his travels, which led him deep into the forest, he studied birds, other animals, and plants. Mr Fried has made trips to other parts of the world. He writes programs for television documentaries (Discovery Channel) as well as articles for wildlife and nature magazines.
