Elizabeth H. Ivancso

Elizabeth Helen (Lidac) Ivancso, 95, of Sandy Hook, died February 15 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Born in Hungary, she was a retired machine operator for Valve Corp of America. She was a member of the Bartram Senior Citizens, and while at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Facility, she enjoyed bingo, arts and crafts, baking pies, and was the number one bowler.

Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, she is survived by her son, Joseph Ivansco of Valdosta, Ga.; her daughter, Elizabeth Berlin and her husband, William, of Sandy Hook; and two grandsons, Joseph Ivansco of Atlanta; and John Ivansco of Aspen, Colo.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on February 19 in the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center, and in St Ann Church. Burial was in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
