Cancer Survivor Night At Bluefish Ballpark

BRIDGEPORT — Swim Across the Sound will host “Cancer Survivor Night” at the Bridgeport Bluefish ballpark at Harbor Yard on Thursday, July 22, when the Bluefish play the Camden Riversharks. 

Tickets are free of charge to anyone who is a cancer survivor and one guest. The cancer survivor and guest will each receive five dollars in BB Bucks that are redeemable for food or merchandise in the ballpark. To register for this event, call St Vincent’s Foundation at 203-576-5451.

The Bluefish will wear pink uniforms with Swim logo patches on the jersey sleeves to honor those who have survived the battle of cancer.

Swim Across the Sound sponsors 34 cancer education, screening and prevention programs. In 2003, the Swim raised a record $2.5 million and helped 18,000 cancer patients
