Wesley Tykes Celebrate

The Holidays

Students at Wesley Learning Center recently learned about several holidays celebrated during the winter holiday season, including Hanukkah and Christmas. To conclude their festive unit, the children prepared a luncheon holiday party for their parents.

During their celebration, the children sang songs about different holiday customs and themes while donning Rudolph-like reindeer antlers and red noses.  (Some of the girls insisted on black noses, however, so that they could be Clarise, Rudolph’s girlfriend!)

At the end of their celebration, the children presented handmade candleholders and handwritten holiday greeting notes to their parents.
