The Advent Scriptures Unwrapped

LITCHFIELD — Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center will host a retreat entitled “Holy Wisdom, Holy Word: The Advent Scriptures Unwrapped.”

The Reverend William Carter, senior pastor at St Matthew Lutheran Church in Avon, will conduct the one-day retreat on Saturday, December 2, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Anticipating the deeper meanings of Christ’s coming, participants will focus on the Advent scriptures through presentations, prayer, reflection, conversation, and silence.
