Hockey Schedule Update

Newtown High School’s hockey team has been off from game action since an 8-1 win over New Milford on January 15.

The NHS-Joel Barlow game, scheduled for this past Wednesday, was postponed because of snow and is scheduled to be played on Monday, January 31 at 7:50 pm at Danbury Ice Arena. The Nighthawks, prior to the Barlow tilt, will play on Saturday, January 29, in a game against the Brookfield-Bethel-Danbury team — (2:10 pm in Danbury).

Following scheduled road games against EO Smith-Tolland-Windham on February 4, and Suffield-Granby-Windsor Locks on February 5, the Nighthawk skaters will make up another snow-postponed game when they play Shepaug-Litchfield in Danbury at 3:20 pm on February 7.
