St Rose Crystal Ball

Promises Glam And Glitz

Planners for the first annual St Rose Crystal Ball have received support from the likes of movie stars, Super Bowl stars, and TV stars, and will be able offer give a chance for one lucky lady to put on the glitz with sparkling diamonds.

The Crystal Ball on Saturday, February 25, from 7 pm until midnight, is a first-time fundraising event to support the St Rose capital improvement initiative to meet the parish’s increasing needs.

The ball will be held at The Waterview, at 215 Roosevelt Drive (Route 34) in Monroe. Tickets are $125 per person, which includes a four-course gourmet dinner and dessert bar, live entertainment and open bar all evening.

One of the evening’s highlights will be an auction filled with goods and services donated by parishioners, friends, and local businesses.

Among the items going in to the live auction will be an autographed football autographed and donated by Jerome Bettis of the Super Bowl Champions the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Carolyn Kepcher, Donald Trump’s right hand person on NBC’s The Apprentice, has graciously donated a foursome of golf at the Trump National Golf Club, one of the nation’s most prestigious and exclusive country clubs.

And Paul Newman’s organization has offered a package of delectable sauces and dressings along with a signed cookbook.

In addition, the evening will also feature a champagne bar where every glass sold will be beautifully adorned with a burgundy velvet satchel holding a chance to win an exquisite pair of sparkling one carat diamond stud earrings. Only 50 chances will be sold.

Surrounding the guests will be shimmering wintry white decor featuring glittering Swarovski crystals.

“This event promises to be unforgettable,” said Tracy Brady, the event’s chairperson.
