Ashlar Concerts, Free Picnic Open To Public

For the 22nd consecutive year, Ashlar of Newtown’s free Summer Sounds concerts are happening at 139 Toddy Hill Road. Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a variety of musical performances given by many of the area’s most popular bands.

On Wednesday, July 16th there is a planned free Community Picnic at 5 pm celebrating Ashlar’s 25th Anniversary prior to the 7 pm concert.

Thursday, July 24 — The Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard Swing Band

Wednesday, July 30 — The Easton Banjo Society                  

Wednesday, August 13 — The Galvanized Jazz Band (Dixieland Style Music)
