Woodbury’s Spaghetti Dinners Are Drawing Big Crowds

WOODBURY — An all-you-can-eat/one-price spaghetti supper is planned from 5 to 7:30 pm on Saturday, November 18, at Woodbury United Methodist Church.

The menu offers pasta with meat, spicy meat or vegetarian sauce, meatballs at 50¢ each, salad, garlic bread, beverage, dessert and coffee. Tickets are $7 adults, $6 seniors and $3.50 for children under 12.

The event will take place in the church’s newly expanded facilities. Last month drew close to 150 dinners with the majority arriving between 6 and 7 pm. As the church is attempting to seat 300 throughout the night, best seating is before 6 and after 7 pm.

There will be an Italian restaurant atmosphere with checkered tablecloths and wine bottle centerpieces, with background music of Italian favorites. The dessert table contains a multitude of delicious desserts at no additional charge. Proceeds will support church projects. The spaghetti suppers are open to the public. Tickets will be sold at the door. Free dinners will be given to every 50th patron.

The church is at the corner of Main and Church Streets. Parking is available on both streets and along the green across the street. For additional information call 263-4775.
