Pops Concert

FAIRFIELD — Greater Bridgeport Symphony will perform its annual Pops Concert, on the front lawn of the library at Fairfield University, on Saturday, June 26, at 8 pm. Rain date is June 27. Matthew Savery will be the guest conductor, and the guest soprano will be Elly Erickson. The program will offer Pops favorites for the entire family including light classics and Broadway hits.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Picnics are welcome, but pets are not allowed on the campus. A pre-concert performance by Moxie, a seven-piece band that performs new arrangements of popular swing tunes, will begin at 6:30. Call 203-576-0293 for details.
