August Historic Garden Walk: Plant Lore

BETHLEHEM — On Sunday, August 22, at 3 pm, the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden will continue its Historic Garden Walk Series with a plant lore walk.

The public is invited to join Kristin Havill on a horticultural journey that will explores plants on the Bellamy-Ferriday property, their histories, traditions and uses.

Ms Havill is the garden curator of the Beatrix Farrand Garden in Bridgewater.

Cost is $5 per person.

The final Garden Walk of the series, “Heritage Fruit and Nut Trees,” will take place on Sunday, September 26, at 3 pm, when archivist Arleen Mitchell will focus on the fruit and nut trees in the Bellamy orchard as well as those common in early New England.
