Martha “Scotty” Korcsmaros, 82, of Stratford, died December 7 at Griffin Hospital. Mrs Korcsmaros was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime Stratford resident.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Frank Joseph Korcsmaros of Stratford; her devoted daughter, Marie Fodor and her husband, David, of Newtown; loving sister, Minnie Hull of Fairfield; loving grandsons, Daniel Fodor and his wife, Tara, of New Jersey, Gregory Fodor and his wife, Mayra, of Newtown, and Darrin Fodor of Monroe; cherished great-grandchildren, Hannah Fodor, Harrison Fodor, and Brady Fodor; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired assembly worker for General Electric for more than 43 years and a member of the Quarter Century Club at General Electric. Her vibrant sense of humor and personality was appreciated by friends and family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held December 11 in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford. Interment was in St Michael’s Cemetery.
