Great Fun At The Fun Fair

To the Editor:

Trinity Day School would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed products and services to make our Annual Fun Fair and Silent Auction, on May 2, a great success. The generosity of local businesses and our charitable community have helped Trinity Day School enormously, enabling us to supplement our literacy centers, learning activities and continue with our playground upgrades. All of our preschool children benefit directly from your kindness.

The following businesses supported our event and in turn we’d like to encourage you to support them: Adam Broderick Salon, Aqua Environmental, Associated Refuse, Bagel Delight, Burgerittoville, Carminuccio’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, Dunkin’ Donuts, Ferris Acres Creamery, Franco’s Pizza & Pasta, Fitness Loft, Fun Kuts, Hair Attractions Design Team, Hero for Men, Image One (Monroe), Lathrop School of Dance, Magic Garden, Mr Mac’s Canteen, New England Bounce About, Newtown Hardware, Pizza Palace, Queen Street Cleaners, Swanky Franks, Sweet Feet, Ted Morton Photography, Toy Journey of Southbury, Toy Tree, Tumble Jungle, UK Gourmet, and Villarina’s Pasta Shop.

We would also like to thank all the tireless volunteers who donated their valuable time and talents to make sure our Fun Fair and Silent Auction ran smoothly. Both were huge hits because of the commitment of all of you. We also want to recognize all the TDS families who donated products to the silent auction, to their children’s class baskets and who brought their children to enjoy the Fun Fair.

Special thanks go to the Jedd Morin, owner of Tumble Jungle, for donating a birthday party for our raffle first prize, and to Newtown Youth Academy for donating a fitness membership and training session as our second prize. Thank you also to all of the volunteers that help make our annual fundraiser possible — we couldn’t do it without your help.

Most of all, thanks to the Trinity Day School children — we do it all for you!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Burns & Brenda Soriano
