Michael Martin Abbruscato 66, of Palm Coast, Fla., a resident of Newtown until 1994, died August 29. Mr Abbruscato was born June 17, 1943, in Bridgeport to Lila S. (Terwilliger) and Michael Joseph Abbruscato.
Mr Abbruscato proudly served his country, faithfully in the US Marine Corps. He was an E-5 sergeant at Camp Lejeune, Ammo Company, in North Carolina, having served in the Vietnam War. He was employed as a supervisor at Avco Textron Lycoming in Stratford for 32 years, and was a previous co-owner/operator of Spankyâs Pizza House II in St Augustine, Fla., for ten years.
Mr Abbruscato is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Daisy R. Abbruscato of Palm Coast; three daughters; a son by choice; two brothers; a sister; and six grandchildren; as well as many friends and relatives who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of his life was held in Florida, September 5.
