Newtown Runners Race To Finish In Marathon

A half dozen Newtown residents completed the 16th Annual ING Hartford Marathon, which drew nearly 7,400 runners, on October 10. The Newtown runners, and their times, are as follows: Dan Germain, 3:30.06; Jerry Rotante, 3:38.14; Martin Ziemnicki, 4:08.57; Kara Gerace, 4:09.08; Thomas Claire, 4:17.09 and Bruce Goulart, 4:21.09.
