Treasured Family

Mary Miranti, 83, of Trumbull, died March 12, at St Vincent’s Medical Center. She was born September 22, 1926, in Minturno, Italy, and was a longtime Trumbull resident.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Francis Miranti. She was the amazing and wonderful mother to four children, including Frank Miranti and his wife, Gail, of Newtown. Two sisters; ten cherished grandchildren; two loving great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive Ms Miranti. Her parents, Dominic and Lucy Fedele, and her brother Joseph predeceased her.

She was a devoted salesperson in the men’s department of Macy’s for more than 20 years. She also worked at D.M. Read’s Department Store and Jordan Marsh.

A pastime that brought her much enjoyment was gardening. Her finely manicured yard brought her so much pleasure. But the most important treasure in her life was her family that filled her with so much pride.

 Funeral services were March 15 at the Cyril F. Mullins Trumbull Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
