Annual Horse Show
The Second Company Governorâs Horse Guard will hold its Annual Horse Show on Sunday, July 24.
All are welcome to this annual event which features horses and riders from all over the region. Come compete, enjoy the grounds, and cheer on the riders.
Competition classes begin at 8 am and continue throughout the day. These Classes are recognized by the Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association, the Connecticut Horse Shows Association, the Marshall and Sterling League, and the Hoof Print High Score Series.
Class entries close on July 22. Post Entry Fee is $15. Proof of negative Coggins Test and current rabies vaccination must be shown at entrance. A prize list and details may be found at www.thehorseguard.org. Proceeds to Benefit the Friends of 2GHG, Inc 501(c)3.
