Blessing The Animals

Dozens of household pets converged on the playground at Trinity Church this past Sunday for the Blessing of the Animals. Above, Pastor Kurt Huber blesses Katie Miller’s beloved “Sam.” In the background are Jim Miller and Kyle Jones.  This annual event at the church always draws quite a menagerie. At the urging of their owners, the pets are, for the most part, respectful during the blessing, but some have a hard time containing their spiritedness.
