SOUTHBURY — The Women’s Health Alliance is sponsoring its 16th seminar from 6 to 8:30 pm, Monday, May 22, at Southbury Imaging, P.C., 800 Main Street South, Suite 116, East Wing in Southbury.

The WHA is a group of women physicians and health care professionals in private practice who conduct seminars on subjects pertinent to women’s health and well-being. The WHA focuses on medical and emotional problems unique to women and discusses the causes and treatments in an effort to educate our audiences.

Jeana Shakra RT, chief technologist and coordinator of Southbury Imaging’s radiology facility, is also president of this organization. She will give a presentation on different diagnostic views of mammography.

Katherine L. Lorensen, CPK, whose practice is located in Middlebury, will discuss “Kinlein,” a positive alternative to other modalities of counseling. It is the first practice in the field of philosophy. Ms Lorensen is also a Reike master.
