Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 71 calls during the period of July 29-August 11.
There were 24 medical calls, 36 trauma calls and 11 standby/other calls.
The medical calls included 5 respiratory, 5 cardiac, 1 cardiac, 3 diabetic, 10 miscellaneous.
There were 20 vehicular trauma calls; 16 non-vehicular.
Forty-five persons were transported to the hospital; 26 were not transported.
They included 2 children, infants to age 8; 8 youth ages 9 to 21; 39 persons ages 22 to 60; 22 over age 60.
Thirty were males; 41 females.
Seven calls were between midnight and 8 am; 36 between 8 am and 4 pm; 28 between 4 pm and midnight.
