Her paternal grandmother is Jessie Stoyak of Cheshire.

A son, Carter Matthew, was born to Michael and Beth Briglia of Glastonbury on August 1 at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Carter weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

His grandparents are Joan and Nick Briglia of Newtown and Leon and Barbara Patten of Waterford.
