Connor Noonan doubled and belted a two-run homer to lead Prism Painting to a 7-4 win over Ferris Mulch to capture the Newtown Babe Ruth Baseball League U11 division championship.

Jacob Moore had two hits while Dean Lindquist, Michael Davis and JP Kitzmiller each banged out doubles. Jimmy Gilbert also contributed with a timely hit. Kitzmiller’s double tied the score in the second and Noonan’s home run put Prism ahead for good.

In the field, Matt Hoyt made a great diving catch on a come backer to the mound as Erik Laaksonen, Colin Dutt, Jack Benedict and Tristan Villamil also helped anchor the D.

Newtown Real Estate 6, Raymond James Financial 4 – Colin Patrick, Grant Varnum, Matt Campbell and Jake Oliger powered Newtown Real Estate to the win. Jonathan Paes, Nick Lametto and Matthew Sodoski pitched well.

Newtown Real Estate 8, Fiorella Insurance 8 – Tom Cotton, Matt Campbell and Colin Patrick paced the Newtown Real Estate offense with a single, double and triple as Claire Swanson, Chad Azzarito and Brendan McMahon played well.

Gas House Gorillas 11, Addessi Jewelers 8 – Patrick Conte, Forrest Weatherby, Kieran Lynch, Matthew Kretz, Jack Moulder and Nick Rohrbacher powered the Gorillas.

Gas House Gorillas 13, Mobil 1 Lube Express 0 – Matthew Pelisson, Andy Hubina, Ellie Nikitchyuk, Paul Whitaker and Patrick Conte paced the Gorillas.

Burrell & Winans 14, VFW Post (#308) 6 – Lucas LaDestro, Brandon Hensel and Jamie Cochrane had three hits each for B&W.

Onex 8, Burrell & Winans 7 – Spencer Johnson hit a three-run home run while Joshua Headen had four hits to seal the victory for Onex. Jimmy Stiles and Nicholas Genovese collected two hits apiece to help pace the offense. Jamie Cochrane, Brandon Hensel and Matt Davis all had key hits in a sixth inning rally for Burrell & Winans.

Raymond James Financial 10, Flagpole Realty 10 – Chris Blanco pitched a solid inning and was 3-for-3 with a triple to lead Raymond James. Austin Carfi also pitched well and went 3-for-3. Nick Bereton scored three times and had two hits.

Onex 7, Fiorella Insurance 3 – Daniel Pearson and Joshua Headen led Onex to victory with two hits apiece. Headen also scored two runs. Zachary Laros contributed a double in the effort. On defense, Derek Streck threw a runner out at third base on a great catch and tag by Scott Martin.
