Program On Online Fundraising

 For Nonprofit Organizations

WESTPORT –– Scott Case, the chairman and founder of Direct Help, which acts as a guide to engaging charitable donors online, will be the keynote speaker at the monthly meeting of the Fairfield County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals on Thursday, February 5, at noon at the Peppermill Restaurant, 1700 Post Road East. Mr Case’s presentation is titled “Yes, You Can Achieve Success Online.”

Mr Case will discuss his experiences and provide guidance on how all nonprofits can succeed on line. He will help break down some of the barriers and offer solutions to how nonprofits can use online communication, fundraising efforts, and relationship development.

All fundraising professionals, executive directors, and trustees are invited to join in this educational session. Individuals may register for the luncheon by contacting Marianne Hickey, Fairfield County AFP Chapter Administrator, at 203-834-1910, or by e-mail at mariannehickey@afpfairfield.org. The luncheon fee for non-AFP members and walk-ins is $30, and for AFP members is $20. Additional information on the Fairfield County Chapter of AFP may be obtained at the chapter’s website, www. afpfairfield.org.

He has spent the last three years working with nonprofit organizations through Direct Help. In addition to serving as founder and president of Direct Help, he is the chairman and co-founder of the Rewards for Justice Fund.

Previously he was affiliated with the Priceline family of companies. He served as Priceline’s chief technology officer and was responsible for the launch of other new businesses including Priceline’s gasoline and new car services.
