As members of the Reed Intermediate School Patriot Press, why do you feel there should be a free press?

Dori Farley: Because there’s a lot of different decisions, and there are a lot of different opinions. And there needs to be someone that makes a good decision and the right decision.

Clare Boyle: Because it’s important that the public knows what is going on in the community.

Caitlin Jones: Because they should be able to say what they want and tell the truth about what is going on in the world.

Trystan Wagner: Because we should be allowed to write whatever we want, instead of being told what to write by the government.

Jenna Hansen: Because everybody has their own opinion and it should be expressed so other people can hear their ideas.

Hannah Delia: Because opinions should be expressed.
