Clarifications

A police news item in the November 13 edition of The Newtown Bee failed to note that Zachary Fabian-Craig was cited for passing on the right following a collision November 5 on Church Hill Road. According to police, he was ticketed because the travel lane where the collision occurred is a single lane of travel, and the vehicle Mr Fabian-Craig hit had been granted the right of way to turn across that single lane into an adjacent driveway.

Due to a typographical error, a November 13 report in The Bee about Governor M Jodi Rell coming to swear in recently elected local officials may have left readers to interpret that Newtown State Rep Christopher Lyddy is not planning to seek reelection. The passage, however, was referring to the announcement that Gov Rell would not seek another term.
