Delivery Man For Drug Center Pharmacy

Matthew P. Russo, 78, died April 15, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Alice (LaMadeleine) Russo. He was born in Waterbury, September 20, 1932, a son of Rose (Grasso) and Benedetto Russo.

Mr Russo was known to area residents as the delivery person for Drug Center Pharmacy, a position he held since retiring from Plastiglide in Waterbury, in 1993. Mr Russo was the uncle of Drug Center Pharmacy owner Donald Bates.

Besides his wife of 32 years, he leaves a son, Jeff LaMadeleine; two stepsons, John Bowman and Luis Lugo; a stepdaughter, Jeannine Morales; three sisters; and several other relatives.
