Head O’ Meadow Reflection Winners Named

Barbara Patrick, PTA member and overseer of the PTA-sponsored Reflection Program at Head O’ Meadow school this year, met with students on Tuesday, December 13, to announce the winning entries that will move on to the state level of the PTA arts competition.

“I’m so pleased that all of you took the time to make incredible artwork,” said Ms Patrick.

Of the 15 participants in this year’s program at Head O’ Meadow, six will have their submissions sent on to be judged at the state level.

The winners announced Tuesday were Kristin Lageman in the Primary Literature category, Trey Hazard for Intermediate Literature, Madeline Patrick for Photography, Annie Fowler for Music Composition, Kendall Reed for Primary Visual Arts, and Dante Verna for Intermediate Visual Arts.

Students whose entries earned first place received trophies for their accomplishment, and the other participants earned a medal for competing in the yearly contest.
