Sarah Sullivan Hills of Sandy Hook and Marc Lawrence Penna of New Fairfield were married on August 9, 2003, at St Peterâs Church, Danbury by the Rev Msgr George D. Birge.
Soloist was Roseanne Loring.
The bride is the daughter of Clark and Susan Hills of Sandy Hook. The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Erika Penna of New Fairfield.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white tulle strapless gown with a satin bodice decorated with silver embroidery and beading. She carried a bouquet of pink tea roses and babyâs breath.
Maids of honor were Alison and Kathryn Hills of Sandy Hook.
Bridesmaids were Caitlin Sullivan of Medfield, Mass.; Bridget Ferrick of Holliston, Mass.; Heather Breman of Marshfield, Mass.; Lauren Penna of Durham, N.H.; Brett Peterson of New York City; Amy Simoneau of Sandy Hook; and Sloane Pagani of Bristol.
The attendants wore pink blush floor length halter dresses with satin cording tied at the waist. Their bouquets were of hydrangeas with pink tea roses.
David Penna and Charles Vlahos of New Fairfield were best men.
Ushers were Anthony, Joseph, Nicholas, and Lawrence Penna of New Fairfield and Gerard and Dennis Ferrick of Holliston, Mass.
Kimberly Sullivan of Dedham, Mass., was flower girl, and Jack Penna of New Fairfield was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University and is a kindergarten teacher in Milford, Mass.
The bridegroom graduated from Central Connecticut State University and is program manager for Phase Forward in Waltham, Mass.
The reception was held at the Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield.
Following a cruise to Bermuda, Mr and Mrs Penna are residing in Marlborough, Mass.
