NHS Career Center

The following scholarships are available in the Career Center at Newtown High School.  Applications and/or information for these Scholarships can be found on file there.  Please call Mrs McEvoy at 426-1915 if you have any questions.

2000 Young Agriculturist Achievement Award – two (2) $500 awards to deserving Fairfield County young people who are involved with any of the numerous and varied aspects of agriculture.  Sponsored by the Fairfield County Farm Bureau Association. Application deadline is June 15, 2000.

Quota International of Candlewood Valley – $1,000 award to 2 recipients who are either pursuing a career that will benefit the deaf and hard of hearing or are members of the deaf and hard of hearing community. The application must be received by June 10, 2000.
