Christmas Fest At Flanders

WOODBURY — On Sunday, December 10, from 10 am to 4 pm, Flanders Nature Center will present its annual “Holiday Fest” at Van Vleck Farm Sanctuary, on the corner of Flanders and Church Hill Roads.

A family day for both young and old, visitors can have fun wreath making, or enjoy sleigh riding, snow sledding or tobogganing on the center’s nearby hills. Christmas carols will be sung around the potbellied wood stove, and hot chocolate and popcorn will be served.

For the little ones, there will be the chance to greet Santa Claus and make “gourmet cones” for the birds using pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed. No registration is necessary, and admission is free. Call 263-3711 for more information.
