The Family Counseling Center, Inc (FCC) will hold its annual meeting on Monday, June 27, at 7:30 pm in the Community Room at the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.
The Family Counseling Center, Inc (FCC) will hold its annual meeting on Monday, June 27, at 7:30 pm in the Community Room at the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.
 The annual meeting will include election of members of the board of directors whose terms are expiring and officers for the board of directors. The proposed slate of officers includes the following: Bruce Walczak, chairman; Tim Cunningham, vice chairman; Dave Rowley, treasurer; Ron Pekrul, assistant treasurer; Stella Dance, secretary. The 2005-2006 budget will be presented as well. Changes to the bylaws to increase the number of consecutive terms for board members from three to four, and to substitute âPresidentâ for âExecutive Directorâ are also proposed for adoption. The public is invited.
 FCC is a state-licensed, accredited mental health psychiatric clinic for adults and children, providing individual, couple, family, and child counseling, psychiatric assessments and follow-up, play-therapy, support groups, and parent education courses for parents going through divorce and separation. Located in Newtown, the center serves people who live and work in the greater Danbury and Southbury area. Its mission is to help people reach their highest potential regardless of their ability to pay.
