Button Shop Road Subdivision Approved

Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) members have approved Meadowside, a

planned three-lot residential subdivision on eight acres on Button Shop Road.

P&Z members July 1 unanimously approved the development plan submitted by

Timbermill Associates.

P&Z member Daniel Fogliano commented that the developers have provided the

town with almost double the amount of open space required by the town's new

open space regulations.

"We were able to get more, better open space with the new regulations," he

said.

P&Z member Robert Taylor pointed out that almost 20 percent of the parcel is

designated as open space and some of that land is of better quality than

typically donated by developers as open space for passive forms of recreation.

P&Z members then unanimously endorsed a motion by Mr Fogliano to approve the

subdivision.
