Pat S. Napolitano, Sr, 93, of Brewster, N.Y., died January 10. Mr Napolitano was born April 19, 1912, in Tarrytown, N.Y.
On July 31, 1939, he married Gertrude Dresser, who survives him. They lived in White Plains, N.Y., for many years prior to moving to Brewster.
Mr Napolitano, Sr, was a loving father and the grandfather of six. He is also survived by his son, Pat, Jr, and his wife, Carol, of Newtown; and his daughter Mena and her husband, Al DiLallo, of Brewster. His grandchildren are Deborah Napolitano and her husband, David McAdam, Keith Napolitano, Tim and Kelcy Napolitano, Christopher Farrington, Lisa and Scott Provino, and Tara and Rafael Rodriguez.
He was employed by Con Edison for 48 years prior to his retirement. He served in the US Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines and Korea. He loved to play golf and watch the golf matches.
Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, January 19, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, at 11 am, at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Sacred Heart Church, 414 Haviland Drive, Patterson NY 12563.
