Stony Hill Festivities Feature Newtown Merchants
BETHEL â The merchants in the four corners area of Stony Hill Road (Route 6) will offer giveaways, sales, music, dance, and community events during the Stony Hill Four Corners Business Associationâs (SH4C) second annual sidewalk sale and Amber Alert registration this Saturday, June 13, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Dance, Inc will perform, while a DJ and a face-painting artist will entertain shoppers at the Big Y, Redwood, and Laurel Plazas along the popular commercial corridor. Members of the Bethel High School band will play at the corner of Stony Hill and Old Hawleyville Roads.
Union Savings Bank and Quality Gem will again co-sponsor an Amber Alert Registration Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department at 59 Stony Hill Road. Tony Caraluzzi, owner of Taunton Wine & Liquor in the Taunton Plaza in Newtown, will offer wine tasting on Saturday from noon to 5 pm.
Klickers Hair Studio owner Toni Ribeiro, also located in Taunton Plaza, will celebrate her two-year anniversary during the festivities and is collaborating with Lisa Whitmore, owner of UK Gourmet to offer raffles, free giveaways, and great sales.
