Childrenâs Art Programs At Library
Along with several summer art programs for young adults, artist Katie Stevenson will offer two art programs for younger children, at the C.H. Booth Library. On Wednesday, July 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, children can join Ms Stevenson in making Fire-Breathing Dragons. The good luck dragon is crafted from egg cartons, paper tubes, foil, and paper. A $5 material fee is due upon registration. On Thursday, July 30, from 3:30 to 4:30, Ms Stevenson will make an ordinary sock come to life with buttons, felt, eyes, yarn, and imagination. A $5 material fee for the Sock Puppet class is due upon registration. Register for both programs in the childrenâs department of the library.
Katie Stevenson has created a display of all of her summer projects on the second floor of the library.
