Free Cyber Courses For Small Businesses Launched
HARTFORD â The Connecticut Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is now offering a series of online workshops, providing a dynamic learning environment that is relevant to the needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs. The series focuses on starting oneâs own business, financing, marketing, sales, growth strategies, and business planning.
Each of the 49 workshops (23 of which are available in Spanish) provides real world business approaches and industry knowledge from entrepreneurs who have succeeded. They include interactive content, case studies, business assessments and questionnaires and are designed in a self-paced learning format.
Available 24/7, business owners and entrepreneurs can access the training when and where they choose and at no charge. Participants will take away in-depth strategies and solutions to help them get started in managing, operating, and building their business.
âThese online courses bring the SBDC directly into the homes of entrepreneurs and businesses, saving them time, money, and providing them with convenient and critically important information to help their business venture succeed. However, SBDC counselors stand ready to answer questions and to provide additional assistance at no charge,â said Ginne-Rae Clay, state director of SBDC.
The workshops were designed and produced by Virtual Advisor Interactive, a product development and multimedia production company providing interactive marketing and e-learning products for the financial services, education, and health care industries, as well as corporations targeting the small business market.Â
