Laugh-In 2010: Treehouse Planning Comedy For New Year’s Eve & Beyond

STRATFORD — Rich Vos and Bonnie McFarlane will be serving up laughter for a pair of Treehouse Comedy audiences on December 31.

Laugh in the new year with a comic who catapulted into the national spotlight with his scene stealing appearances on the stand-up comedy hit reality TV show Last Comic Standing. Mr Vos parlayed that Last Comic Standing run to appear in over 30 additional national and cable comedy show performances.

He has had two of his own Comedy Central Presents comedy specials along with Comedy Central appearances on Live at Gotham, Premium Blend, Tough Crowds, Tough Crowd Stands Up plus Friday Night and Late Friday on NBC-TV, Showtime at the Apollo and BET’s Comics View.

Joining Mr Vos will be his funny, witty, edgy and highly original and talented wife, Bonnie McFarlane. She has been featured on her own HBO One Night Stand half  hour comedy special, as well as The Late Late Show, The Tonight Show, Letterman, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend,  Tough Crowds and her own Comedy Central special.

The couple will be performing on Thursday, December 31, at 8 and 10 pm, at The Harborside, 946 Ferry Boulevard in Stratford.  Mitchell “The Area Code Guy” Walters will host the event.

Tickets are $20.10 for the first show and $34.95 for the later show, and can be ordered by calling 203-375-3037 or online at TreehouseComedy.com. Tickets for the late show package will include party favors, balloons, champagne, a balloon drop, and dancing after the show.

Future Comedy

In addition to their New Year’s Eve performances, Rich Vos and Bonnie McFarlane will be at the Treehouse Comedy Club at the Holiday Inn, 80 Newtown Road in Danbury, on Saturday, January 2. Tickets will be $19.50 and showtime is at 9 pm.

The opening act for that evening will be Mike Garb.

The following weekend, the legendary Gallager will bring his trademark Sledge-O-Matic to the Holiday Inn for an 8 pm show on Friday, January 8.

Gallagher is making a rare comedy club appearance that will sure to be an unforgettable comedy experience. Experienced showgoers turn up already “Gallagherized”: wearing plastic raincoats, goggles, sunglasses, and refer to the front of the club as “Death Row.”

A Gallagher show is a once in a lifetime comedy experience. Gallagher’s legendary comedy career spans decades featuring 16 comedy television specials and has compiled hours and hours of comedy.
