Occupation: I am a licensed plumber. In 1997, I started working for Tim Conlan Company, a local plumber and Newtown native. I worked for him for 18 years and came to know and appreciate the people and community. I started my own business, Rob Rozz Plumbing & Water Service, in January of 2015.

Family: I met my wife Jane in 1996, and we were married in 2002. Jane taught elementary school in Norwalk for over ten years and then spent four years teaching in Sandy Hook. Currently, she is helping with my business. We have three children in three schools. Jessica is 13, Nicholas is 10, and Joseph is 8.

Tim has been helpful along the way, and we continue to have a good working relationship.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? As an avid football and baseball fan, I'd like to spend the day with Mike Francesa. He was a sportscaster on WFAN for 30 years, who left recently, that I listened to all the time. I'd enjoy bantering with him about sports, politics, and life in general.

What is your favorite musical genre? I grew up in the 80s, so 80s rock and roll - bands like Def Leppard, Van Halen, and Motley Crue.

What is your favorite food? Steak, and mom's Italian cooking.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? The philosophy of trying to put yourself in the customer's shoes as much as possible and doing what you would want done.
