An Afternoon With Delftware, June 22

DERBY — Kellogg Environmental Center will host free a presentation on Delft ceramics at on Friday, June 22, from 1 to 2 pm. The presentation will offer a brief history of Delft ceramics, with a highlight on pieces from Osborne Homestead Museum.

The Frances Osborne collection includes Derby, Chelsea, Bow Royal Copenhagen and Staffordshire pieces.

Kellogg Environmental Center and Osborne Homestead Museum, at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (off Route 34), are facilities of CT DEEP. The museum is open for free guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm, and Sundays from noon until 4 pm.
