A Natural Parent-Child Playgroup For The Young Child Begins On January 24

Registration is underway for a Waldorf-inspired playgroup that will begin on Monday, January 24. The playgroup meets once a week, Monday through Friday from 9:15 am to 11:00 am at the Newtown Congregational Church, 41A Main Street in Newtown. It is sponsored by the not-for-profit Housatonic Valley Waldorf School.

The playgroup features handmade natural play toys, special songs and a nurturing, wholesome atmosphere. Mom and children from infants to age four participate in circle time, playtime, snack, story, song and seasonal crafts in the spirit of Waldorf. The fee for the 8-week semester is $160.00 per family.
