Cancer Program At Danbury Hospital

DANBURY –– A comprehensive program addressing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer will be discussed at the Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meeting “Stay Wise To The Risk Of Sun Exposure & Skin Cancer” on Tuesday, May 20, from 7 to 8:30 pm. The free community health and wellness program sponsored by Danbury Hospital will take place in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium, 24 Hospital Ave.

 Free skin cancer risk assessments will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 21–22, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital, located on the first floor of the Stroock Building (Locust Avenue entrance). Skin cancer screenings will be provided by board certified Danbury Hospital dermatologists.

No appointment is necessary. Screening registration closes at 7:30 pm each evening. For more information and directions to this community service provided free by Danbury Hospital, call the Marketing & Community Relations Department at 797-7247.
